TechShop Detroit opened last week. TechShop is the do-it-yourself workshop and fabrication studio, based in Menlo Park, California and opening workshops around the USA. Meant to spark creativity and grow Detroit’s creative community, Ford’s Employee Patent Incentive Award program provides free TechShop memberships to its employees submitting inventions.
