The American Dream in Danger – Ideas From Starbucks And Howard Schultz

4,000 American jobs in the U.S. have been created by the joint effort between Starbucks and the Opportunity Finance Network. Since November, it has raised more than $11.5 million in donations, which in turn translates into approximately $80 million in financing for community businesses.

This program aims to help companies create new jobs in the USA. On the surface, this effort is about creating jobs, but the way to create those jobs is to help small businesses, startups, new ventures to get started or to help them expand. But it is not enough and Starbucks, Citibank, Google, Banana Republic and a few others are calling on us to do more to revive the American economy.
